1970 Mercury Cougar Convertible

This is a sharp example of a low production; only 2,322 were produced, rare 1970 original Mercury Cougar convertible from the second year of convertible production. It comes to us from the Art Astor collection and is finished in a Lime Green Metallic exterior with Dark Green comfort-weave vinyl high back bucket seats. Our Cougar features a spotless white power convertible top with a folding glass rear window. The engine is the hard to find 351 Cleveland 2V with a console 3 speed select-shift automatic transmission. Among the factory accessories found on this car are power steering, front disc brakes, warning light group, center console, color keyed dual sport mirrors, deluxe full wheel covers and an upgraded Pioneer combination AM/cassette tape player radio. Simulated wood graining was used surrounding the instrument cluster, glove box, center console and steering wheel. The low miles (68,302) and original condition of this car makes it a fun to drive, truly a one of a kind, collectable "Muscle" cars.
